Law Practice in the Digital Age – Leveraging Technology to Improve Well-Being and Professionalism
Length: 1 Hour
Since the release of the ABA’s influential 2017 report The Path to Lawyer Well-being: Practical Recommendations for Positive Change, the subject of attorney mental health has been a favorite topic among lawyers, mental health practitioners, and other professionals. In the report, the ABA Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being issued multiple recommendations for systemic reforms to the profession with the goal of improving attorney wellness. While system-level change is surely required for long-lasting profession-wide impacts, this presentation will focus on providing practitioner-level hacks that can positively impact well-being and improve professionalism.
Presented by LEAP Legal Software and featuring attorney and established legal industry health and wellness expert Anna Levine, this Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program will focus on the relationship between lawyer well-being, technology, and practice management solutions. Specifically, the presentation will explore practice management best practices and will offer practical tips on how lawyers can optimize the legal practitioner’s mastery of common technology solutions. When implemented correctly, these tips and best practices should not only improve practice efficiency and efficacy but will also elevate lawyers’ well-being and improve their overall adherence to the Rules of Professional Conduct.
This course will benefit attorneys in private practice who work in a law firm environment, from the smallest solo practice to larger multi-office firms. There is no cost to attend this event. CLE credit is pending approval.
