Description

Join Raymond C. Radigan, the Senior Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at Peapack Private, and Sy Sommer, Esq. of LEAP for a one-hour CLE session that examines the critical responsibilities and liability risks involved in serving as a fiduciary. Whether acting as an executor, trustee, or corporate fiduciary, these roles create significant legal obligations that are routinely scrutinized in today's litigious environment.

In this session, you will learn about governing instruments, statutory duties, and the risks that can arise from negligent administration. Understand common pitfalls that lead to disputes and the evolving expectations surrounding beneficiary communication and engagement. Additionally, the session will cover investment oversight principles, current trends in fiduciary litigation, concentrated asset risks, and emerging concepts influencing modern trust administration.

Whether you currently serve as a fiduciary, advise clients in fiduciary roles, or are building your expertise in trust and estate administration, you will leave this session more equipped to confidently navigate fiduciary responsibilities while reducing personal and professional risk.
